Aylezo Ecotint Racing Ready to Fight for Super Trofeo Glory

Making a comeback since they last competed in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia in 2014, Aylezo Ecotint Racing is ready to start their 2016 campaign at the Shanghai International Circuit this weekend.

With the signing of double Super Trofeo Asia champion Max Wiser partnering Malaysian Zen Low, and the Lamborghini Huracán LP620-2 Super Trofeo, the team have all the ingredients to fight for victories from the start.

“Pre-season testing was successful for us without any problems,” said Zen Low. “The car is performing great, and Max is still as fast as ever. Looking at the other teams it’s seems that this year will be tough competition for us, but since those cars are brand new everyone is starting from zero.”

As well as the new car for the series, the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia will be traveling to two new circuits including Suzuka and Buriram in Thailand.

Asked about his expectations for the season Zen was looking optimistic: “We have everything in the team to fight for wins and hopefully the championship this year. Out of the 22 drivers the top 10 were very close in pre-season testing, so it will be hard work for us. But we love hard work and stiff competition, that’s what makes Aylezo Ecotint Racing such a successful team.”

The 22 drivers on the grid will be racing in two 50-minute sprint races each race weekend, across 12 rounds in six destinations around Asia.

Qualifying begins this Saturday at 13:45 (CST) with Race 1 at 11:35 (CST) on Sunday May 22. Keep up to date with Aylezo Ecotint Racing’s progress at www.aylezo.com/racing and our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/aylezo.
