I always wanted to do Asian Le Mans, I think my first experience with the series was two years ago with Lamborghini on a GTC car and this year I wanted to do the same but unfortunately I could not get the car. So the only option for me was the CN and I thought I would give it a try as I have never driven a CN before and this would be my first time. It is very different as the car does not have any driver aids.
No power steering, no ABS, no traction control, basically there is nothing. So in terms of driving, it is a lot more difficult to drive a CN car. It is a good experience for me, something new, other than that the weekend is not exactly smooth to us as we are very new to the car, we have a lot to learn in terms of setting up the car, getting used to it that kind of stuff.
If it was a GT car we would be a lot more comfortable as we have many years of experience. Again it is a learning curve, we are on home ground, so we do not exactly need to learn the track but we really need to learn the car as it is a tougher car to drive.”
