After clinching the win for the GT4 category at the recent 2016 Sepang 12 Hours, Aylezo Ecotint Racing will attempt to replicate their success at the land down under as they head down to Australia to compete in the infamous Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour endurance race.
Aylezo Ecotint Racing will be collaborating with RA Motorsports in their debut at Bathurst and the chosen race car for this challenge will be none other than the race-proven Ginetta G55 GT4. Receiving full factory support from Ginetta Cars for this race, this will also be the G55 GT4’s first appearance at the historical endurance race where it will be among the 56 GT cars fighting for the title.
Joining Aylezo Ecotint Racing’s team owner and race driver Zen Low in this quest to challenge Mount Panorama will be Japanese race driver Shinyo Sano, and two other Australian drivers, Jake Parsons and Aidan Read.
“I can’t describe my excitement to finally be able to compete in the prestigious Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour this year, and it makes it even better that my maiden appearance will be with the renowned British brand, Ginetta,” said Zen.
Powered by a 355-horsepower 3.7-liter V6, the Ginetta G55 GT4 is a force to be reckoned with as it has numerous achievements across the globe, with the latest being their fifth SP3 class victory in six years at the recent Dubai 24 Hours. Aside from winning the British GT4 class six times since 2008, the G55 GT4 also made a name for itself at the Pirelli World Challenge, as well as grabbing the first and third place in the GT4 class at the recent 2016 Sepang 12 Hours.
