Aylezo Ecotint Racing have signed 28 year-old British race driver Riki Christodoulou for the next race of their Asian Le Mans Series season in Fuji, Japan.
Riki has been racing since 1999, becoming Belgium and British Junior Champion and European Vice Champion. before moving onto single-seater racing where he won multiple races in the Formula Renault UK 2.0 and British International F3 series.
From 2012 Riki left single-seaters and moved onto GT racing where he started in the British GT Championship racing a Ginetta G55. He is currently racing in the Competition102 GT4 European Series.
“I’m really excited to be joining everyone at Aylezo Ecotint Racing for the next round at Fuji,” said Riki. “They are a very good team and have a great car, so I hope together we can bring home some silverware from the top step of the podium.”
Of the signing AER team boss and driver Zen Low is confident that the young Brit will be successful racing the teams Ginetta LMP3. “Riki has had a lot of racing experience over the past 17 years, and with a strong performance in GT racing I’m sure he will be able to bring something special to our Asian Le Mans campaign. I’m looking forward to racing with this young man at the next ALMS round in Fuji, Japan.”
